What is the Five-Star Award

•  
• Crescendo Business Solutions surveyed, by mail and phone, all Portland area residents who purchased a home over $100,000 (more than 54,000 households) within a 36 month period (August 2007 and August 2011) and 7,000 subscribers of Portland Monthly. In addition 250 surveys were sent to morgate and title companies.

• Real Estate agents were evaluated on nine criteria:
  • Customer Service
  • Market Knowledge
  • Communication
  • Closing Preparation
  • Integrity
  • Marketing the home
  • Negotiation
  • Finding the right home
  • Overall satisfaction

• Qualified real estate agents were reviewed by a blue ribbon panel comprised of realty company executives, professional and trade association officers, and other individuals directly involved in housing-related businesses.

• The FIVE STAR Real Estate Agent Award is limited to less than 7 percent of all real estate agents in the Portland area.

• The list of Five Star Realtors has been published in the April 2011 issue of Portland Monthly.
